-it's time to let go-

We all know there'll come a time that we have to let go of certain things
...throwing out old stuff
...hanging out with toxic friends
...terminating already lost relationships

coming to terms that it's over and basically it's time to move on

My house is currently undergoing some minor revamp but major (labour)work.
The physical action of ridding the house of stuff is also a good way to emotionally purge out everything bad in my life.

I know it was good. And in some ways, even special. But i also know when to stop and just leave. Maybe, just maybe..It could just lead to something more magical :)

...but i know i'm going somewhere "

-KL/Genting drama trip-

i went overseas 4 times this year (exclude the numerou day trips to malaysia) and i just came back from KL/Genting. I love travelling and usually nothing gets me down when i'm away in foreign territory. I don't mind the rain, or getting lost, or even losing my credit card one time and panicking. Therefore, i hate to admit that i've had arguably the worst trip ever.
ok, i actually wrote a list of lowlights and highlights but i decided not to publish it. The trip was what it was and i'm just glad that it is o-v-e-r.

On a happier note..i got my IKEA Friends card

-mambo jambo-

It's tradition to head over to zouk the wednesday after exam week.
it was like a prelude to the zoukout event on saturday. n no, i didn't go..again. haha
That said, it's been awhile since i last club (oct in london) n i realise i have NO clubbing wear.
So i became lazy and just don a black spag and denim skirt. Tot a waisted belt will up the 'dress factor' but i became irritated with it so i took it off after awhile.
Although i did manage to curl my hair for the night.

fave pic of the night. the smokey effect..thanks to josh

i only post this pic cos can clearly see my curls/waves
my straight hair is way too stubborn

i dunno what this is though..hha

n of cos..what's a night out without drinks?

we went for supper at this nice dim sum place at little india that weida recommended.
one of the rare times that i would go for supper after clubbing.
who needs the extra calories?
bt it was yummy and we all got home safe
n mel had to work the next day :)

-The L-word-

Watched Enchanted with mon last night. It was a fairy tale with a just a splash of reality. It made me think about a few things..

can you fall in love after just one day?
will the initial love be enough to carry you through the bad times?
beauty and innocence - will that win his heart?
a couple being together for 5 years or 3 days are just as likely to split?

love - it just doesn't make sense does it?
There are a million and one things written about love out there.
People who believe in it and people who don't.
People who crave for it and people who have given up on it.
Hallmark cards and reality..will they ever co-exist?
Are you with someone cos of reasons 1,2,3... or because you want to?

We are who we are..
If given something perfect, we have the urge to shake things up
..tear things apart
And if we're given something less than perfect
we'll try to make it work
Give it our best effort

Why do we try?
Is it because it'll be a good investment?
Or because of that feeling inside?

Or when do we stop?

And the classic... Sometimes love it just not enough..

i believe you when you say you don't know
because i don't either
and cos of that
..i'm not saying anything

Why do all good things come to an end?
